Speedograph Richfield Ltd has developed from the dedicated expertise of the most respected names in the automotive, marine and industrial equipment markets.

Thos. Richfield and Son Ltd was founded in 1938 during the classic era of British motoring, for the repair and manufacture of traditional instrumentation, drives, cables, miniature gearboxes, accessories and components. Later in its history it became a subsidiary of the famous S Smith and Sons company.

Conversely, since its foundation in 1957, Speedograph has focused on high technology and incorporated the latest advances into its range of instrumentation, drives, cables, miniature gearboxes, accessories and components.

Today, the resources of both businesses are combined in a unique service that incorporates high technology manufacturing techniques, contemporary management philosophies and a solid belief in traditional skills.

All work is carried out at the company’s main plant in Nottingham, where manufacturing, warehousing, design and administrative functions are efficiently coordinated.
